
thesis | A Declaration of Thrift | A book about thrift culture exploration using only found cameras from local second hand stores, articles and opinions collected from re-purpose advocates and printed on all recycled materials.

poster design | "What your recycling is telling you..." | Series urging college students to recycle from the recyclables point of view. The bottom of every poster has a list of items that are recyclable on campus.

packaging design | Sweet Riot | A multi-lingual and eco-friendly exploration of packaging materials for the chocolate bar "Sweet Riot'. Previous packaging design was plastic and did not convey the bar's organic and cultural goodness.

environmental design | Elena Kalis Exhibit Advertising | Poster, pole-banners, and art exhibit signage all designed to fit outdoor spaces at the Yerba Buena center in San Francisco advertising the coming of Elena Kalis exhibit.

publication design | Quicksilver 2010| Art Direction, design, layout and art photography for Pacific Union College's student art and literature magazine.

typography, illustration | Hitchikers Guide Book Series | Book cover design for a series using home-made typeface and hand-drawn graphics trying to recapture the feeling of the original British radio show, Hitchikers Guide to the Galaxy.

web design | Banglahope.org | Non-profit template design for an orphanage in Bangladesh. A simpler web design was needed to help sponsors donate to the orphans more easily.

art direction | REVO (Revolution) | Event design for Pacific Union College in California including: t-shirt, banners, posters and flyers for annual benefit concert.

publication design | TRYP Magazine | Layout and grid design for Flikr.com art, photography and film magazine showcasing student work.

packaging design | Hair Salsa | Design for a South American inspired hair product line. Packaging uses Aztec hieroglyphs with hair and repurposed salsa containers.
bio
I was born in California, raised mostly in Colorado, but also lived in Arizona, Utah and Ohio for a time. After high-school I studied design at the Universidad de Montemorelos in Nuevo Leon, Mexico for a year and finished my Bachelors degree in Graphic Design at Pacific Union College in 2010. I recently returned from doing non-profit design work for 'Hope For Bangkok' in Thailand and am currently freelancing out of Southern California.
